Images of Extant 16th Century Embroidery

This section is dedicated to sharing pictures of extant pieces that we have taken on various trips, at museums where photography is permitted.  These pictures are for educational purposes only.  In the case of embroidered pieces, we took some close-ups that allow embroiderers to see the stitches and, in some cases, the thread count.  For more information on each piece, visit the Museum's website.
